Although it’s not one of the most prominent celestial events of the year, the Quandrantid meteor shower nonetheless provides some bright meteors streaking across the winter sky. Malcolm Park captured this lone Quandrantid slicing through Orion on January 3, 2014, from the shore of Lake Ontario near Wellington, Ontario.
